I am of the firm belief that our social responsibility compels us to bring about real change in the people and communities around us. Giving back begins by being mindful of our own inner potential and stepping beyond our comfort zones to realise that vulnerability and uncertainty are not weaknesses. That is where true growth – and change – begins.
After 15 years of serving as the CEO of the ACVV, one of the oldest and largest national welfare organisations in South Africa, and completing my PhD in Social Work and community capacity-building, I have been blessed to discover a new direction in my life purpose: to magnify and simplify the inner potential of others.
This is how gro.potential was born, as a means to provide opportunities and tools for those individuals and organisations who dare greatly to grow and discover their own inner potential, as well as broaden their knowledge base, skill set and leadership.
